Convienient location, quiet and value for money
The Hotel itself was old but clean and well presented, staff were helpful and very pleasant. The mirrored ceiling was interesting to say the least.
The address given was incorrectly given and Hotel was hard to find. The taps for the jucuzzi were located on the back wall and difficult to reach.
Too expensive with low quality facility.
Basic hotel. Next time I would prefer to spend a little more to have more comfort.
3 lightbulbs did not work, window pain was too small for the window leaving a huge breeze coming into the room. Room was extremely outdated and the lounge was hardly seperated as stated prior. Shower leaked all over bathroom floor. When booking the room it stated there was pool views, which was false.
Very convenient to good restaurants, fastfood outlets and to the city of Bundaberg.
All getting a bit old
I found the staff & managers welcoming & with a smile on their face we dident eat at the resterant but I did see some of the meals & will endevor to eat their on my next stay we found the hotel quiet to stay at with no noisy gests or noisy trucks my wife & I would recomend this hotel to any one wanting peace & quiet & a good nights dining
All the above & that its old charm
The motel is a bit tired, but the bed was very comfortable. The room was very large.
Needs a revamp. Although there was a toaster and a microwave, there was no crockery or cutlery. They provided some coffee/tea cups but no teaspoons or coffee.
Not the executive suite with balcony overlooking the pool as booked, rather a veranda sleepout overlooking the front signboard with light. Windows didnt close or lock, bathroom was mouldy and a bit grubby and furniture tired. Not horrendous but not good either.
Friendly and helpfull staff.
The parking area is small. We had trouble with parking. Hotel owners may think it's not important offering a better quality instant coffee and everywhere I've stayed, I had bad quality instant coffee. I normally bring some from home. Instant coffee from any brand doesnt taste great, but the brands we find in budget motels are awful. Having to pay for internet conection separate was another down side. Even coffee places offer Wi-fi internet for free, why do budget motels still charge a range of 6-7 dollars an hour of internet connection? I think it is not a smart way of making some extra money. I never come back to motels that charge silly prices for 1 hour or day of internet connection.
the bed is comfortable. Rooms are a good size with a good bit of furniture
Located across the road from the "Zoo". Convienient location, and that is about it.
Very run down hotel, everything needs fixing!!! They didn't even know the bed had bolts that needed tightening they said "oh it has always been loose".
Large rooms and location very convenient. Staff friendly.
Rooms looked like they had not been updated since the seventies and the bath was stained and looked dirty. The carpet was also stained. This is a real pity as the building looks like an old Queenslander and has great potential and the location is very close to the river and the park on the river's edge and close to the city centre.
Pleasant reception & service.
Stained carpet & torn curtain.
